Film & Television Costume Fabrication
Costuming is one of our specialties, recognizing that unique pieces arenāt always readily available off the rack. From gloves and bags to elaborate Grecian armor, capes, and coats, we excel in bringing your vision to lifeāfrom initial concept to final creation. We understand the demands of filming schedules and will troubleshoot to ensure your costumes are ready on time.
Custom Apparel Design & Development
Whether itās a personalized leather bag or a perfectly fitted coat, jacket, hoodie or dress, we specialize in crafting bespoke pieces designed to last for years to come. Each custom-made garment includes a comprehensive consultation and 2-3 fitting sessions to ensure it meets your exact specifications.
Low-Risk MOQ Apparel Manufacturing
We offer a standard low-risk 15-unit minimum order quantity (MOQ) for clients who complete their Technical Apparel Product Development with us. Our skilled sewing team provides expert production support to ensure each garment is executed with precision and consistency.
For clients who develop their products with ES Fashion Design Studio, we also support a seamless transition to external manufacturers when needed, including technical guidance and production handoff. For independently developed products, we are available to assist with production on a case-by-case basis.
Premium Designer Blanks
Our Premium Designer Blanks are sustainably made, thoughtfully designed, and rigorously tested by our in-house design team. Crafted in our Downtown Vancouver studio by Canadian artisans, each piece is made to order(50+ MOQ required), giving designers and start-ups the flexibility to select their preferred fabrics. We also offer embroidery, DTF, and screen printing for further customization.
Hourly & Weekend Industrial Sewing Studio Access
Hourly Drop-In Sewing Studio Access provides flexible use of our fully equipped industrial sewing studio for Vancouverās creative community. Designed for designers, students, and independent makers, it offers a professional space to work on personal or small-scale projects with industry-level equipment.
Beyond studio access, ES Fashion Design Studio continues to support the local creative community through guidance, resources, and a collaborative environment that helps creatives develop and complete their work with confidence.
